Wending your way slowly down the meandering Kushiro River, you may be treated to the sight of the marshes shrouded in morning mists, mirror-like waters glinting gold in the sunset, and other unique vistas as the scenery changes dramatically with the seasons and time of day.
You may also encounter Ezo red foxes and even swimming kingfishers.
